You can find a free online course in Finland-Swedish for librarians at finlandswedishonline.fi.
Art Pro Finland is a free resource bank produced and maintained by the University of the Arts Helsinki. The resource bank contains specialised glossaries for the artistic field, as well as information and learning materials.
The Mediespråk website contains writing instructions for journalists in the Finland-Swedish media, but others can also benefit from the materials.
DIALOGIA – Acute Care in Three Languages is an open material package containing dialogue in Finnish, Swedish and English, compiled by Sari Myllymäki and Kai Salonen from Tampere University of Applied Sciences. The publication is available at Theseus.fi.
The handbook on Swedish legal language (Svenskt lagspråk i Finland, Slaf) is a PDF manual for all those who work with Swedish-language legal texts in Finland. Slaf is published by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Enkel svenska, or Simple Swedish, is a free digital learning material intended for a variety of different industries:

- fine arts
- music.
The material was originally created for Finnish-speaking students, so remember to switch to Swedish in the upper corner if you wish to receive instructions in Swedish.
Enkel svenska has been compiled jointly by several universities of applied sciences, and it can be found online at svenskanu.fi.
Term banks and the Finnish Terminology Centre
Whether you are writing scientific texts, reading decisions, or simply trying to grasp all the information available around you, several websites will offer you the necessary terminology in Swedish, English and Finnish.
Helsinki Term Bank for the Arts and Sciences
The Helsinki Term Bank for the Arts and Sciences in Finland is a wiki-based website that contains scientific terms used in different industries. There are synonyms in several different languages – for some industries more than for others. Moreover, the Term Bank is constantly supplemented with new material.
Finnish Terminology Centre
The Finnish Terminology Centre works with terminology pertaining specifically to Finland. The Centre publishes glossaries on specific fields and topics, such as the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), continuous learning, environmental protection, information management, traffic, and construction. Some lists are available in Finnish, Swedish and English, while some are published only in Finnish and Swedish.
TEPA Term Bank
TEPA is a free-of-charge term bank with a search function maintained by the Finnish Terminology Centre. TEPA contains field-specific terms and definitions. The languages with the most content are Finnish, Swedish, English and German. Learn more about TEPA on the term bank’s website. The interface is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
